  1. Can I slow video playback speed down?

Yes, the Academy video player playback can be adjusted in increments from .10% to 2X speed by clicking the 1X button in the bottom right corner of the video player.  To revert back to normal speed, just select the 1X in the pop up menu.  See video tutorial on the Essential Techniques and Lessons Page for further instructions.

  1. How does video A/B looping work?

See video tutorial on the Essential Techniques and Lessons page for detailed instructions. The AB looping allows you to segment a section of the lesson for continuous play allowing continuing practice of difficult passages without having to put your instrument down.  To access this feature, click on the AB button in the lower right corner of the video. To set a starting point of a segment simply select the (I) key on your fingerboard while the video is playing.  To set the ending point select the (O) key on your keyboard.   The segment can be adjusted by right clicking on either slider point and dragging to the left or right.  To escape and return to normal play, select the AB button in the lower right corner.

  1. Can I both slow down videos and use AB looping at the same time?

Yes, you may use the playback speed control while using the AB looping function.
