Gardenia Waltz — Texan Johnny Gimble, the king of western swing fiddlers, recorded this tune in 1974 on his album Fiddlin’ Around.  It became an overnight hit in the contest fiddle world.  I heard Jeff Pritchard from Kansas play it in the early 1980s with a high variation for the A section, and my version combines Gimble’s original and along with stuff that I developed along Pritchard’s ideas.
